Scott Bale,
Master Fitness Trainer

I am Scott Bale and I am a Master Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as the International Sports Sciences Association. I enjoy working with clients of all fitness levels. I have a private gym in Richardson, Texas and I train clients one-on-one, as couples, groups, or teams. I teach classes, such as, bootcamps, foam rolling,  glutes, balance, dysfunctions of the foot, ankle, knee, hips, low back, shoulders, neck, etc. I am passionate about helping people move and  feel better and improve their performance.

Poor movement and stiffness are not a result of getting older, they are a result of dysfunction.  I specialize in finding the source of the problem, not necessarily where you feel it. I use a  movement assessment to find out where you have movement compensations and design a program to correct them before it becomes an injury. My goal is to teach you how to take care of yourself. Corrective Exercise has changed my life and I am confident that it can change yours.
I offer  one on one private training, which will include everything that I teach in classes as well as weight training and stretch/mobility sessions.

My classes include:

Bootcamps - these classes are designed to improve your balance, speed/agility/quickness strength, and cardiovascular system. Every exercise is self paced (based on your ability) and there is a progression and regression for each exercise.

Foam Rolling - this class is like giving yourself a massage. It is designed to relax your muscles and calm your nervous system down. This class is a key to learning how to feel at least an 8 out of 10 everyday. No matter if you are an elite athlete, or you sit at a desk all day, we are all beating our bodies up, one way or another.  The goal of this class is to learn how to identify places of discomfort and relax the muscle before it ever becomes an injury. If you can feel better, you can move better.

Glutes - This class isn’t just about making your glutes look better. It is designed to help them perform better. Glutes that don’t work correctly can show up as discomfort in the knees, hamstrings, hip flexors, and low back.  You will learn how to engage your glutes so that you can move and perform better.

Balance -  everyone needs great balance. For athletes, you need it to dominate the competition. For seniors, you need it to prevent falls. This class will include core strength, footwork, change of direction and unpredictable movement.

Foot/Ankle - dysfunction starts at the feet and the core. This class will teach your feet how to “do their job” as opposed to relying on a shoe or inserts to provide stability. If your feet don’t work correctly, it can create problems throughout the rest of your body.

Knees - Knee dysfunction can be a result of issues in the foot/ankle, knee, or the glutes. This class will teach you to identify where the problem is coming from and correct and restore function of that area.

Hips - Hip dysfunction often starts at the ankle, knees, hip flexors, and lats. This class will teach you how to identify where the issues are coming from and how to restore them to normal function.

Low Back - most of us have experienced low back issues at some point in our lives. I had low back issues for 27 years until I learned how to restore complete function of my low back. This class will help you identify the 3 muscles that are the most common issue with low back dysfunction.

Shoulders - Shoulder issues are one of the most common complaints of the upper body. This class will help you identify and correct these problems and restore full range of motion.

Neck - Neck issues can be directly affected by muscles of the chest, in between your shoulder blades, upper traps, the side of your neck etc. This class will teach you how to identify which muscles are the main cause of your dysfunction and how to correct the problem.

I have helped countless people move and feel better. It all started with me. I was injured for 27 years until I was able to restore function myself. Some of us have orthopedic issues that there is nothing that you can do to improve function. All of us have muscle imbalances, which cause one side of a joint to be shorted and the other side of the joint to be stretched. This will affect how the corresponding joint moves and feels. It is just like tuning a guitar, whether you put the guitar back in its case or you play it everyday, it will get out of tune. Our bodies are the same. Whether you sit all day, or you move all day, we are beating our bodies up, one way or the other.  My goal is to teach you how to feel great for the rest of your life.
